Our Materials
Ethnicloom sources exceptional, eco-conscious materials, reflecting our deep commitment to sustainability, cultural continuity, and refined craftsmanship. Guided by both ancestral knowledge and modern ecological standards, our material choices result in weaves that are sensorial, symbolic, and sustainable.
Wool
We use 100% organic sheep wool, sourced locally and regionally. Either undyed in its natural shades or tinted using vegetal processes, our wool ensures a balance of strength, color, and thermal comfort.

Hemp

Natural Dyes

Traditional Techniques

Hand-Knotted Rugs (Tarakli Kilim)
This intricate technique involves the rhythmic interlacing of yarns using a comb-like tool (tarak) to create raised knots and tactile patterns. Each knot carries a story—quietly textured into the surface of the rug.
Weft and Warp Weaving

Jacquard Looms
